For Fifty Plus - AARP Magazine Recognizes Best "Movies for Grownups"

For Fifty Plus - The largest circulation magazine in the world, AARP Magazine, recognizes movies for the over-50 crowd every year with its "Movies for Grownups" awards.
This year, AARP chose "Frost/Nixon" as the best movie of the year. AARP Magazine has become famous for selecting movies that always go on to perform well at the Academy Awards.
The "Movies for Grownups" awards have some very unique categories as well. For example, in 2009, the movie Last Chance Harvey won for "best grownup love story."
The magazine also recognized Meryl Streep, a talented actress over 50, for her brilliant performance in the movie "Doubt." Gus Van Sant took the honors for best director over age 50 for his film "Milk."
